Aunt Sherry's Famous Dill Dip (or how I remember it)
No party in our family is complete without Aunt Sherry’s Famous Dill Dip. I remember going to her house as a kid and wondering how she managed such total magic as that dip. When I got a little older, she let me in on it. This is how I’ve done it over the years! Now I’ll share it with you! It might be the easiest (and most delicious) party recipe you make all season.
Here’s how you do it:
You need 4 spices. Add them to taste. (Aunt Sherry says 2 tablespoons of each except for parsley. That’s one tablespoon. She also says fresh is better!)
Dried parsley
Dried Dill
Dried Onions
Season Salt
Whatever amount of parsley you put in, double the other 3. The photo above is how much I used for this recipe.
Add the dry ingredients to equal parts sour cream and mayonnaise. (Aunt sherry says one cup each.)
Mix and enjoy! I prefer to refrigerate mine for 24 hours so the ingredients can set up.
You can serve this dip with chips, cut veggies, or both!
