Lemonade Tastes Better With Books

It’s nearly summer! The temperatures are milder, the sun is shining longer into the day, and the beach reads are hitting store shelves! There’s no better drink to have while diving in to the beachy pages of a book than lemonade! Here are a few tips to get that perfect glass:

1. In the south, where I live, ice melts faster than you can say, “Pass the lemonade.” The last thing you want is a watered down drink! Fill a few ice trays with lemonade, dropping small slices of lemon or lemon zest into the trays as well, and freeze. As it melts, it just makes your drink better!

2. Trying to keep that bikini body? Mix your lemonade with club soda to cut the calories and still have that delicious summer goodness.

3. Lastly, if you want to kick it up a notch, add rum or vodka for a poolside treat!
