Reader Spotlight

I really enjoy getting emails from people who have read my books. Connecting with others through story is one of the most exciting parts of my job. I have a file in my office, and it’s full of little notes and thoughts people have given me over the years—emails and cards, letters I received from children when I was a teacher… Whenever I’m in need of a pick-me-up, I read those. Here’s a quote from an email I got recently that really touched me. While I’ll keep the content of the actual email just between myself and the reader, I was delighted to hear about her new puppy—she named it after the main character of Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses. How cool is that?
